When you add your startup to DropShipMRR, we require your Stripe restricted API key solely for the purpose of retrieving and displaying your revenue data. We are committed to protecting your information:
- Limited Purpose: Your Stripe API key is used exclusively to fetch revenue metrics and display them on our platform. We do not use your key for any other purpose.
- Secure Storage: All API keys are encrypted using industry-standard encryption (AES-256) before being stored in our secure database.
- No Payment Processing: We never process payments, create charges, or perform any financial transactions using your Stripe account.
- Read-Only Access: We only request restricted API keys with read-only permissions. Your key should never grant us write or modification access to your Stripe account.
- Data Integrity: We retrieve revenue data directly from Stripe's API to ensure accuracy and prevent manipulation.
2. Data Security
We implement multiple layers of security to protect your sensitive information:
- All data transmission occurs over HTTPS/TLS encryption
- API keys are encrypted at rest in our database
- We use secure server-side processing for all Stripe API calls
- Regular security audits and updates to our infrastructure
- Compliance with industry best practices for data protection
3. Your Data Rights
You maintain full control over your data:
- You can request deletion of your startup and all associated data at any time
- You can revoke your Stripe API key at any time through your Stripe dashboard
- You have the right to export all your data from our platform
- You control the visibility of your startup (active/inactive)
4. Revenue Data Display
By adding your startup to DropShipMRR, you agree that:
- Your revenue data will be publicly displayed on our leaderboard
- All revenue figures are sourced directly from Stripe and marked as verified
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share this data publicly
- We display revenue in good faith and do not independently verify business claims beyond Stripe data
5. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Provide fake or manipulated Stripe credentials
- Submit misleading business information
- Attempt to access or manipulate other users' data
- Use the platform for any illegal or fraudulent activities
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise our security measures
6. Advertising
Our advertising program operates as follows:
- Advertisements are displayed in designated sidebar slots
- Ad slots are sold on a first-come, first-served basis
- Monthly subscriptions are required to maintain active ad slots
- We reserve the right to reject or remove ads that violate our policies
- Refunds are handled according to our refund policy
7. Liability and Warranties
DropShipMRR is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make our best effort to ensure data accuracy and platform security, but:
- We are not liable for any damages resulting from platform use
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- Revenue data is pulled from Stripe and displayed in good faith
- We are not responsible for third-party service outages (Stripe, Vercel, etc.)
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to all registered users. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
